The Trackmann Test
The following shows a comparison of our Razorback SD-1 MILLED wedges with the wedges of two well-known and leading wedge manufacturers (each 52 ° and 56 ° loft). We have resorted to a trackman 4 and the help of a well-known tour professional. Of course, this is not comparable to a robot, but comes very close to it and is more than sufficient to be able to determine well-founded test results.
52° Grad Wedges
When comparing the 52 ° wedges, a shot length of 100 meters was targeted. The tests show very clearly that the 52 ° Razorback SD-1 MILLED Wedge by Titan Golf generates 57% more backspin compared to the 52 ° Vokey SM7 Wedge by Titleist. Compared to the Callaway MacDaddy wedge, the Razorback SD-1 MILLED Wedge reaches 19% more backspin.
56° Grad Wedges
When comparing the 56 ° wedges, the results are somewhat similar. For this test, a shot length of 85 meters was targeted. The tests show that the 56 ° Razorback SD-1 MILLED Wedge from Titan Golf generates 43% more backspin than the 56 ° Vokey SM7 Wedge by Titleist. Compared to Callaway’s MacDaddy 56° Wedge, the Razorback SD-1 MILLED Wedge achieves 36% more backspin.
